The agreement between you and HelpMePass. We've kept it readable — but it's still the real thing, so please have a look.
Last updated: 8 June 2026 · By using HelpMePass you agree to these terms.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of helpmepass.ch and its services. They're a contract between you and HelpMePass, so please read them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using HelpMePass, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you're using HelpMePass on behalf of someone else, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for them.
HelpMePass is built for university-level students. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
HelpMePass is an independent study resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or connected to EHL Hospitality Business School ("EHL") or any other educational institution, examination board, faculty, or staff member. "EHL", "BOSC", course names, and any related names, logos, or marks are the property of their respective owners and are used on HelpMePass purely descriptively (nominative fair use) to identify the subjects our independent materials relate to — no affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or ownership is claimed or implied.
All questions, solutions, notes, videos, and other materials on HelpMePass are independently created by us for practice. They are not official materials, not past papers, and do not reproduce, copy, contain, or derive from any confidential, leaked, or copyrighted examination content of EHL or any institution. Any resemblance to a real exam is limited to subject matter, general format, and difficulty level, which are facts and ideas that are not protectable. If you believe any specific item does otherwise, tell us (see §15) and we will review and remove it.
A free account unlocks the first three chapters of every course. A paid purchase unlocks the full course content you bought — crash-course chapters, the question bank, and mock exams as described on the course page at the time of purchase.
Access is a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own study. We may improve, update, or reorganise content over time; we'll aim not to reduce what you've paid for.
Because course content is digital and accessible immediately, purchases are generally final. That said, we want you to feel good about your purchase:
If something isn't working, the content was misdescribed, or you bought by mistake, email us within 14 days at hello@helpmepass.ch and we'll make it right — including a refund where fair.
This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have under Swiss or EU consumer law.
To keep HelpMePass fair for everyone, you agree not to:
HelpMePass is a study aid to help you learn the material — it is not a tool for academic dishonesty, and we build it (including server-side grading) to support genuine learning.
You are solely responsible for using HelpMePass in line with your own institution's academic-integrity, honour-code, examination, and assessment rules. The service is for independent revision and practice only and must never be used during an exam or assessment. We are not responsible for, and accept no liability for, any academic penalty, disciplinary action, loss of standing, or other consequence you may face arising from how you choose to use the service.
Content protection & anti-piracy. Our videos, notes, questions, and solutions are copyrighted works licensed to you for your own private study only. Recording, screen-recording, screen-capturing, downloading, ripping, re-uploading, livestreaming, mirroring, or sharing any of our content — including to classmates, group chats, social media, file-sharing services, messaging apps, or any other platform — is strictly prohibited and is a serious infringement of our copyright and of these terms. Your account is personal: login credentials, paid access, and content may not be shared with, or accessed by, anyone else. We use technical, watermarking, and forensic measures to detect and trace unauthorised copying and distribution.
If you breach this section, we may immediately suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice and without refund, revoke all access, and pursue every remedy available to us under applicable law, to the fullest extent permitted — including injunctive relief and takedowns, and claims for damages, an account of profits, statutory damages where available, and recovery of our investigation and legal costs. Each work that is copied, recorded, or shared without authorisation is treated as a separate act of infringement, and access shared with another person counts as a breach by you for every such use.
All course content, questions, solutions, text, design, and branding on HelpMePass are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. Your purchase grants a licence to use them for personal study only — it does not transfer ownership. You keep ownership of content you submit (such as a tutor bio), and grant us a licence to display it as needed to run the service.
Trademarks, names, and logos of third parties (including any university or examination board) belong to their respective owners; our use of them is nominative and descriptive only, as described in §2. We create our materials independently and respect others' intellectual-property rights. If you are a rights-holder and believe any content infringes your rights, see §15 (Reporting content) and we will review and act on good-faith reports.
HelpMePass lets students offer tutoring to other students. If you publish a tutor profile, you're responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for any sessions you arrange. HelpMePass provides the marketplace as an introduction service and is not a party to, and not responsible for, any agreement, session, or payment between a tutor and a student. Tutors are independent and not employees or agents of HelpMePass.
We work hard to map our content to real exams, but HelpMePass is a study aid, not a guarantee. We do not promise any particular grade, exam result, or outcome. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.
Our materials are provided for general educational and practice purposes only and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. They are not professional, academic, legal, financial, tax, or career advice, and tools such as the grade calculator produce estimates only. You rely on the content at your own discretion and should always check against your own course's official materials and your instructors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HelpMePass will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost grades, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the service. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You can stop using HelpMePass and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms — particularly the acceptable-use rules — or to protect the service and its users. If we terminate your account without cause, we'll refund any unused portion of a recent purchase where fair.
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Lausanne, Switzerland have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless HelpMePass and the people who operate it from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising out of or connected with: (a) your use or misuse of the service; (b) your breach of these terms or the Privacy Policy; (c) any content you submit (such as a tutor profile, review, or message); or (d) your violation of any law or of any third party's rights, including intellectual-property, privacy, or contractual rights.
We respect intellectual-property and other legal rights. If you are a rights-holder (including any institution or examination board) and believe that content on HelpMePass infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, or is otherwise unlawful, please email hello@helpmepass.ch with a description of the content, where it appears, and the basis of your concern. We review good-faith reports promptly and will remove or disable the content where appropriate. Providing a removal route does not make us liable for user- or third-party-reported content.
